Modeling of Plasma Assisted Ignition,Combustion and Detonation

Texas A&M University College of Engineering

Howdy!

Welcome to the Plasma Simulation Laboratory!

 What are we doing?

Simulation of equilibrium and non-equilibrium plasma and  effect of plasma on ignition, combustion, detonation and flow dynamics

Potential applications include but not limited  a) Flow control by Plasma Discharges; b) Combustion Processes Control and Stabilization by Plasma; c) Controllable Ignition by Combined Discharges; d) Deflagration to Detonation Transition Control by Plasma; e) Laser and Microwave Discharges Dynamics; e) Nanosecond pulsed discharge igniters; f) Aero-optical effects.
